To visit the “Tajmahal” during full moonlight, First of all, you have to confirm the date of full moonlight, as moonlight view of Tajmahal is available only during full moon nights. (5 days in a month) The full moon night, two nights before the full moon and two nights after the full moon. Tickets are booked one day before the visiting day.
Your Taj Mahal Moonlight tour begins here. You will travel through the beautiful Indian countryside on a spectacular journey to Agra. Then, drive to Agra, where the magnificent Taj is located. When you get there, you will see the majestic Taj Mahal, the most significant building in the world. You can see the night view of the Taj Mahal only for five days in a month i.e., on a full moon night, two nights before, and two nights after the full moon. You will not be able to see it on Friday and during Ramzan month.
On arrival, sightseeing at Agra Fort and It-Mad-Daula’s TombThe mythical Yamuna River runs close to Agra Fort. The stone sculptures at Agra Fort are well-known. You can explore it to find mansions, halls, and beautiful gardens. It is an admirable accomplishment of the Mughals. Some of the best marble carving work can be seen on the tomb. The next step is a tour of the marble factory to see how precious and semi-precious stones are inlaid into marble. Later, we will bring you to one of the local restaurants for an opulent lunch. (Lunch is Optional). Later in the evening view the Taj Mahal under the moonlight which is a mesmerizing experience that adds a layer of magic to this iconic monument. During the monthly occurrence of the full moon, the Taj is open for night viewing, offering a serene and ethereal ambiance. Bathed in soft moonlight, the pristine white marble of the Taj Mahal seems to glow, creating an atmosphere of romance and tranquillity. It’s a moment of pure enchantment; visiting the Taj Mahal under the moonlight is an unforgettable memory. The first day of the tour ends here.

After breakfast, we’ll start our journey to Fatehpur Sikri—the ghost city the next thing to discover on our Taj special moonlight tickets tour. Situated 40 km from Agra, this city is considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Fatehpur Sikri was once the capital of Mughal Emperor Akbar and later shifted to Lahore due to a lack of water. The magnificent structures built by the Mughals at Fatehpur Sikri depict a bygone period. Here we can also take in its beauty in a comparatively quiet and serene setting, and you can also take a tour of religious and historic sites. Once you’ve finished exploring Fatehpur Sikri, we’ll head back to Delhi.
